## Biography

Edla Hansen was a Danish film editor. She began working as a film cutter at Nordisk Film in 1915 and later held positions at A/S Palladium and Valby before returning to Nordisk Film, where she served as director of the editing department from 1936.

Hansen edited the 1922 film *Häxan*, directed by Benjamin Christensen. Her other credits include *For frihed og ret* (1949), *Ditte, Child of Man* (1946) and *Susanne* (1950). She was married to Holger Christian Hansen and remained active in the industry until around 1950.
