Edmond Richard (6 January 1927 – 5 June 2018) was a French cinematographer. He was born in Paris and worked extensively in French and international cinema over five decades.

Richard served as director of photography on several Luis Buñuel films, including *The Trial* (1962), *The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie* (1972), *The Phantom of Liberty* (1974) and *That Obscure Object of Desire* (1977). He also collaborated with Orson Welles on *Chimes at Midnight* (1965) and *The Trial* (1962). Other credits include *Les Misérables* (1982), for which he received a César Award nomination, and later films such as *Mayrig* (1991).

In recognition of his career, Richard was awarded the Prix Henri-Langlois in 2011. He gave a detailed interview about his work in the same year.
