Edna Ruth Paul is a film editor. She edited *The Evil Dead* (1981), *Fear No Evil* (1981) and *The Waiting Room* (1973). She also served as editorial consultant on *Blood Simple* (1984) and edited episodes of the television series *ABC Afterschool Specials* (1973–1976).

Paul worked on low-budget films while based in Detroit and New York. She mentored Joel Coen, who assisted her as an editor on *The Evil Dead*; Coen has cited her influence on his editing and storytelling techniques.
