## Biography

Edward Kłosiński (also credited as Edward Klosinski) was a Polish cinematographer. Born in Warsaw in 1943, he graduated from the National Film School in Łódź in 1967. He began working in the industry as a stills photographer and assistant before becoming a cinematographer on feature films.

He collaborated extensively with directors including Andrzej Wajda on *Man of Marble* (1977) and *Man of Iron* (1981), Krzysztof Zanussi, and Krzysztof Kieślowski on *Decalogue* (1989) and *Three Colors: White* (1994), for which he also served as a scenario collaborator. Other credits include *Europa* (1991) and *Gloomy Sunday* (1999). He was married to actress Krystyna Janda.

Kłosiński died in Milanówek in 2008.
