## Biography

Edward Woodall is an actor. His screen credits include the role of Mr Martin in the 1996 film *Emma* and 2nd Lt. William Mowett in *Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World* (2003).

He is also a stage actor and director in London. He directed *Een Hond Begraven*, which won a Time Out award for best play on the London fringe, and *Happy Yet*. He has appeared in productions at the Battersea Arts Centre and trained in mime at the LeCoq School in Paris, later working with Complicite and Improbable Theatre.

Woodall works as a movement teacher at the Oxford School of Drama.
