Edward Woods (5 July 1903 – 8 October 1989) was an American actor. Born in Los Angeles, California, he graduated from the University of Southern California and began his career on stage, appearing in Broadway productions and at the Salt Lake Theatre.

He is known for his role as Matt Doyle opposite James Cagney in *The Public Enemy* (1931). His other film credits include *Dinner at Eight* (1933) as Eddie, *Hot Saturday* (1932) and *Marriage on Approval* (1933). Woods worked with actors including Cary Grant, Greta Garbo, Jean Harlow, John Barrymore and Clark Gable. He later moved into producing, directing and theatrical management.
