Edwin Lee Gibson is an American actor. He grew up in the South Park neighbourhood of Houston, Texas, and began performing professionally at the age of 16 in a production of *The Wiz*. He studied at Texas Southern University and later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Empire State University in 2012 and a Master of Fine Arts from Point Park University.

A veteran of the stage, Gibson has appeared in over 100 professional theatre productions and received an Obie Award in 2006 for his performance in *The Seven*. His screen credits include guest roles in *Law & Order* (2010), *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* (2014), *Fargo* (2020) and *Mom and Dad* (2017). He has recurred as Ebraheim in the FX series *The Bear* since 2022 and appeared as Bill Russell in *Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty* (2022–2023). With the *The Bear* ensemble, he won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 2024.
