## Biography

Eike Hosenfeld is a German composer. Born in 1974 in Offenbach am Main, he studied sound engineering at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen „Konrad Wolf“ in Potsdam-Babelsberg from 1996 and graduated as a Diplom-Toningenieur.

He co-founded the Tonbüro studio in Berlin with Christian Riegel and Moritz Denis. Hosenfeld has composed for numerous German films and television productions, including the series *Die Bergretter* (2009–) and *Löwenzahn*, as well as feature films such as *Devotion* (2003). He co-composed the score for *Sound of Falling* (2025, also known as *In die Sonne schauen*) with Michael Fiedler; the pair received a nomination for European Composer (Original Score) at the 2026 European Film Awards.
