Elaine Friedman is an American woman who appears as herself in the 2003 documentary film *Capturing the Friedmans*, directed by Andrew Jarecki. The film centres on her family in Great Neck, Long Island, following the 1987 arrest of her husband Arnold and their youngest son Jesse on charges of child sexual abuse.

Friedman is interviewed extensively in the documentary, which incorporates family home videos. She is the mother of David, Seth and Jesse Friedman. Arnold Friedman died in 1995.
