Elena Anaya is a Spanish actress. Born on 17 July 1975 in Palencia, she began her film career in the mid-1990s after training as an actress in Cádiz and at the Juan Carlos Corazza school in Madrid.

She gained recognition in Spain for her role in *Sex and Lucía* (2001), which earned a Goya Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She appeared as Ángela in Pedro Almodóvar's *Talk to Her* (2002) and played Aleera in the Hollywood film *Van Helsing* (2004). In 2011 she won the Goya Award for Best Actress for her leading role in Almodóvar's *The Skin I Live In*.

Anaya has also appeared in *Room in Rome* (2010), *Mesrine: Killer Instinct* (2008), *The Infiltrator* (2016) and *Wonder Woman* (2017) as Dr Maru.
