Elisabeth R. Finch is an American television writer. She began her career writing the short film *Looking for My Brother* (2006). She worked as a writers' assistant on *True Blood* from 2008 to 2010, receiving writing credits on three episodes, and later wrote episodes for *No Ordinary Family* (2010–2011) and *The Vampire Diaries* (2012–2014).

Finch joined *Grey's Anatomy* in 2015 as a writer and producer after an article in *Elle* about her reported medical experiences. She wrote 13 episodes and served as a producer on 172 episodes before resigning in March 2022 following an investigation into statements she had made about her personal and medical history. She also appeared as an actor in one episode of the series. Finch graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000 with a degree in creative writing.
