## Biography

Elisabeth Williams is a Canadian production designer, art director and set decorator. She began her career in Quebec, working as a set decorator and art director on films including *The Score* (2001) and *Polytechnique* (2009), and on Quebecois television series, before moving into production design on features such as *Rhymes for Young Ghouls* (2013) and *Imaginaerum* (2012).

Williams served as art director on the second season of the FX series *Fargo* (2015) and as production designer on its third season (2017). She joined *The Handmaid's Tale* (Hulu) as production designer from its second season in 2018, continuing through subsequent seasons. She has won three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program (One Hour or More) for her work on the series, with additional nominations in the category.
