Elizabeth Bower is an English actress. She was born on 1 August 1976 in Leeds, West Yorkshire. She graduated from the University of Warwick with a BA in theatre studies and performing arts, and obtained a postgraduate diploma in acting and musical theatre from the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

Bower is best known for playing GP registrar Melody Bell in the BBC soap opera *Doctors* from 2007 to 2009. Her other television credits include *Secret Life of Boys* (2015–2021), *Miss Scarlet* (2020) as Mrs Wentworth, *Creeped Out* (2017) as Paxton, and *Silent Witness* (1996). She appeared uncredited as the Chatty Exhibition Guest in the film *Closer* (2004) and as Another Shopper in *Jingle Bell Heist* (2025). In 2006 she won the Edinburgh Fringe Report award for Best Actress in TV Drama and Comedy.
