## Biography

Elizabeth Cuthrell is a writer and film producer. She is co-founder of Evenstar Films, a New York City-based production company, and a member of the Producers Guild of America.

She wrote the screenplay for and produced the film *Jesus' Son* (1999), adapted from Denis Johnson's short stories. Cuthrell produced Kelly Reichardt's *Meek's Cutoff* (2010). Other production credits include *The Same Storm* (2021) and *The Sisterhood of Night* (2014).

Cuthrell attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, the University of Pennsylvania and received an MFA from New York University. She has also worked in theatre as a producer.
