## Biography

Elizabeth Lawrence was an American actress. She appeared in the film *Unbreakable* (2000) as the School Nurse.

Lawrence had a long-running role as Myra Murdock Sloane in the soap opera *All My Children* from 1979 to 1991, for which she received three Daytime Emmy Award nominations. She also appeared in other daytime soap operas including *Guiding Light*, *As the World Turns*, *A World Apart* and *The Road of Life*. Her film credits include *We're No Angels* (1989), *Sleeping with the Enemy* (1991), *The Butcher's Wife* (1991), *The Crucible* (1996) and *Isn't She Great* (2000). She made her Broadway debut in *The Rainmaker* (1954).

Lawrence died on 11 June 2000. *Unbreakable* was dedicated to her memory.
