## Biography

Elizabeth White is a British producer and director at the BBC Natural History Unit, specialising in natural history documentaries. A former research biologist with a PhD in zoology from the University of Bristol, she joined the BBC after work experience on *The Blue Planet* and has worked there since the mid-2000s.

She served as assistant producer and director on *Frozen Planet* (2011), contributing to episodes about polar people and the environment, and as director and producer on *Planet Earth II* (2016). White was series producer on *Frozen Planet II* (2022) and has also worked on *The Great British Year* (2013).
