## Biography

Ellen Dæhli Ystehede is a Norwegian costume designer. She trained in textile and fashion design in Oslo before completing a BA in Theatre Design at Central Saint Martins in London.

She has designed costumes for numerous Norwegian films and television series, including *Happy, Happy* (2010), *Oslo, August 31st* (2011), *Blind* (2014), *Thelma* (2017), *Hope* (2019) and *The Worst Person in the World* (2021). She has collaborated repeatedly with director Joachim Trier, most recently on *Sentimental Value* (2025). Her credits also include work for the National Theatre in Oslo and other stage productions.

Ystehede was born in Oslo in 1973.
