## Biography

Ellie Wood is a British film and television producer. She began her career as a script editor at the BBC, working on adaptations including *Bleak House* (2005), *The Line of Beauty* (2006) and *He Knew He Was Right* (2004). She later held development and executive producer roles at Clerkenwell Films and Tiger Aspect Productions, and worked as a consultant for Miramax, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Catalyst Global Media.

Wood founded Clearwood Films and produced the Netflix feature *The Dig* (2021), an adaptation of John Preston’s novel starring Carey Mulligan and Ralph Fiennes. The film received five BAFTA nominations, including for Outstanding British Film. She also produced the ITV/BritBox series *Stonehouse* (2023) and served as executive producer on the feature *Hot Milk* (2025). In 2025 she signed a development deal with Banijay UK through Clearwood Films.
