## Biography

Ellise Chappell is an English actress. She was born on 21 March 1992 and studied at the University of Exeter. She trained with the National Youth Theatre REP Company in 2015, appearing in productions including Wuthering Heights and The Merchant of Venice.

Chappell first gained notice for her role as Jennifer Strange in the 2016 Sky adaptation The Last Dragonslayer and as Wendy Roberts in the BBC series New Blood that same year. She played Morwenna Chynoweth (later Whitworth and Carne) in the BBC drama Poldark from 2017 to 2019. In 2019 she appeared as Lucy in the film Yesterday.
