Elmo Veron was an American film and television editor. Born Elmo Joseph Veron on 17 September 1903 in New Orleans, Louisiana, he died on 7 November 1990 in Los Angeles, California. His first credited feature as editor was *Captains Courageous* (1937), directed by Victor Fleming for MGM, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing.

Veron worked extensively at MGM in the late 1930s and 1940s on films including *Boys Town* (1938), *The Mortal Storm* (1940) and several entries in the Andy Hardy and Maisie series. He was a charter member of the Society of Motion Picture Film Editors, established in 1937. From the mid-1950s he moved into television, editing episodes of series such as *The Untouchables* (1959–1961) and *Petticoat Junction* (1964).
