Elsa Wagner (24 January 1881 – 17 August 1975) was a German actress. Born Elisabeth Karoline Auguste Wagner in Reval, Russian Empire (now Tallinn, Estonia), she trained with Maria Spettini in Saint Petersburg before making her stage debut in Berlin in 1901.

She appeared in numerous theatrical productions, including tours of *Faust* and *Peer Gynt*, and in more than 140 feature films. Her screen credits include the uncredited role of the Landlady in Robert Wiene’s *The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari* (1920), as well as *Von Morgens bis Mitternachts* (1920), *Die Buddenbrooks* (1923) and *Atlantik* (1929). She received the Filmband in Gold in 1966 and the Ernst-Reuter-Plakette in 1971.
