Emil Birk Hartmann is a Danish actor born on 26 September 1990 in Copenhagen. He made his television debut as Niklas in the series *Lærkevej* (2009–2010).

Hartmann is known for his role as August Rohde in the crime series *The Bridge* (2011), for which he received a nomination for Årets TV-Stjerneskud. His other screen credits include the film *Swinger* (2016) as Patrick, *Limbo* (2012) and *Mercur* (2017). He trained at Det Danske Musicalakademi, graduating in 2014, and has appeared in stage musicals including productions at Fredericia Teater and Aalborg Teater.
