## Biography

Emilio Díez is a Spanish television writer and creator. He studied law before training in screenwriting at the ECAM in Madrid.

His credits include writing for *Money Heist* (seasons 3 and 4, 2019–2020), *The Boarding School* (2007–2010), *The Pier* (2019–2020) and earlier series such as *Periodistas* and *Los Serrano*. He created the series *Toledo* (2012) and *Algo que celebrar* (2015).

Díez was born in Madrid in 1975 and has family roots in León. In 2025 he published his first novel, the psychological thriller *Soma*.
