Emily Altman is a television writer, producer and occasional voice actress. She began her career contributing sketches and writing for *Inside Amy Schumer* in 2014 before joining the writing staff of *Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt* (2015–2016), where she worked as a writer and story editor.

Altman has been a writer and producer on the animated Netflix series *Big Mouth* since 2017, also providing voices for several characters. Her other credits include *The President Show*, *Difficult People* and *Digman!*. She received Emmy nominations for her work on *Big Mouth* and *Inside Amy Schumer*.

Raised in Minnesota, Altman grew up around the Guthrie Theater, where her parents worked, and performed in school productions before moving into writing.
