## Biography

Emily Skopov is an American screenwriter and producer. She holds a BA in English Literature from Columbia University and an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television. She began her career in episodic television, writing for series including *The Client* (1995) and *Pacific Blue* (1996–2000).

Skopov wrote three episodes of *Xena: Warrior Princess* (2000–2001) and also served as supervising producer on the series. Her other writing credits include episodes of *Andromeda* (2001–2004) and *Farscape* (2002). She wrote, produced and directed the feature film *Novel Romance* (2006).
