## Biography

Emita Frigato is an Italian production designer and art director. She began her career in the early 1980s as an assistant on films including *I fichissimi* (1981) and worked with scenographer Paolo Biagetti on several productions.

Frigato has collaborated repeatedly with director Alice Rohrwacher, serving as production designer on *The Wonders* (2014), *Happy as Lazzaro* (2018) and *La Chimera* (2023). Other credits include *Noi credevamo* (2010), *18 Presents* (2020), *Bad Tales* (2020) and *The Macaluso Sisters* (2020). She received the David di Donatello for best production design for *Noi credevamo* and the European Film Award for production design for *La Chimera*.
