## Biography

Emma Lowney is a production designer and set decorator. She began her career as a production buyer on John Crowley’s *Brooklyn* (2015) and advanced through set decoration on films including *The Lost City of Z* (2016), *Black '47* (2018) and *Margrete: Queen of the North* (2021).

Lowney made her production design debut on the experimental feature *Dollhouse* (2012). She is best known for her work on *The Quiet Girl* (2022), for which she received an IFTA. Other production design credits include *Rose Plays Julie* (2019) and *The Winter Lake* (2020). She has also worked on international projects such as the series *Spy City* (2020).
