## Biography

Emma Napper is a British director and producer of natural history documentaries. She trained as a biologist, completing a PhD on ants and butterflies, before joining the BBC Natural History Unit as a researcher around 2005.

Her credits include researcher roles on *Life in the Undergrowth* (2005) and *Life* (2009), assistant producer on *Madagascar* (2011), and producer and director on *Life Story* (2014). She directed and produced the Jungles episode of *Planet Earth II* (2016) and directed episodes of *Seven Worlds, One Planet* (2019) and *Dynasties* (2020).
