Emma Rydal is an English actress. She was born in 1973 in Cumbria and graduated from Middlesex University in 1994 with a BA (Hons) in Performance Arts.

She is known for her role as Stella Moorhouse in the film *East Is East* (1999). Her television work includes appearances in *Playing the Field* (1998–2000), *Coronation Street* (2003) as Maz O'Loughlin, *Midsomer Murders* (2016) as Geri Barkham, *Stella* (2014–2016) as Celia, *Emmerdale* (2019–2023), *Vera* (2012) as Mattie, *Red Rose* (2022) as Mrs Taylor, and *Doctors*.
