## Biography

Enrique López Lavigne is a Spanish film producer and screenwriter. Born in Madrid on 16 January 1967, he studied law at the Complutense University of Madrid and worked for a year as a lawyer in Paris before entering the media industry at Sogecable and Canal+.

He began producing in the 1990s under Sogecine and later co-founded Apache Films in 2003 and Apaches Entertainment with Belén Atienza. His credits include producing *Lucía y el sexo* (2001), producing and co-writing *28 Weeks Later* (2007) with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, and producing *The Impossible* (2012) and *A Monster Calls* (2016) with Juan Antonio Bayona. In 2020 he was invited to membership of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
