Eric A. Sears is an American film and television editor. He began working as an assistant editor in the late 1970s on features including *The Last Waltz* (1978) before moving to editing credits on television series such as *Miami Vice* (1984) and *Law & Order* (1990).

Sears has edited numerous feature films including *Hot Shots!* (1991), *Final Destination 2* (2003), *Shooter* (2007) and *Into the Storm* (2014). He won two Primetime Emmy Awards for outstanding single-camera picture editing, for the miniseries *Gia* (1998) and *The Path to 9/11* (2007).
