Eric Cohen is an American television writer and producer. His credits include writing for *Welcome Back, Kotter* (1975–1979) and serving as supervising producer on *The Golden Girls* (1988–1989), for which he also wrote two episodes in 1989.

He has written episodes for series including *Amen* (1987–1990), *The Nanny* (1994–1995), *Everybody Loves Raymond* (1999), *Becker* (1999) and *The Nanny*. Cohen received Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series for his work on *Welcome Back, Kotter* (1976) and *The Golden Girls* (1989).
