## Biography

Eric Notarnicola is an American screenwriter, director and producer. Born on 5 April 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina, he studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He began his career as a television editor and visual effects artist, collaborating frequently with the comedy duo Tim and Eric before moving into writing, directing and producing.

Notarnicola has written for *Nathan for You* (2013–2017) and *Who Is America?* (2018). He has maintained a long collaboration with Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington on the *On Cinema* comedy projects since 2013, serving as writer, director and producer. He directed the 2019 feature *Mister America* and the 2020 Netflix special *Eric Andre: Legalize Everything*. He is a writer and executive producer on the HBO series *The Rehearsal* (2022–present).
