Eric Paykert is an actor and producer. He is known for playing Eric the Bail Bondsman in the 2017 film *Good Time*, directed by Josh and Benny Safdie.

Before entering acting, Paykert worked as a bail bondsman in Queens, New York, for twenty years. The Safdie brothers initially approached him only for use of his office as a filming location, but later cast him in the role after deciding against using a well-known actor.

Paykert has appeared in several independent short films shot in New York City and is credited as Richard (and executive producer) in the forthcoming feature *Knights of Night* (2026). He works for the public defenders' office Queens Defenders.
