## Biography

Eric Scherbarth is an American film editor, writer and cinematographer. His editing credits include the short films *Sinkhole* (2009) and *Self-Defense* (2009), as well as *The Gateway* (2015).

He served as director of photography on the 'Machine Kids' segment of the anthology film *Movie 43* (2013). Scherbarth wrote the story and co-wrote the screenplay for the horror film *The Devil Below* (2021). He has received six awards, including a Special Jury Prize for Best Editing at the Nashville Film Festival for *The Gateway*.
