## Biography

Eric Schlumberger was a Swiss actor, producer and writer. Born in Geneva in 1932, he appeared as Luigi in Jean-Luc Godard’s *Vivre sa vie* (1962).

He produced *Le soleil dans l’œil* (1962) and was associate producer on Costa-Gavras’s *Z* (1969). He also wrote and directed a segment of *Chance at Love* (1964).

Schlumberger was married to the writer Ghislaine Schoeller. He died in Ribeauvillé, France, in 2018.
