## Biography

Erica Hayes is an animation director and storyboard artist. She began working on *Rick and Morty* as a storyboard revisionist in its first season and advanced through the ranks to become the series' first female director in Season 4.

Hayes has directed episodes of *Rick and Morty* (2019–2021), *Carol & the End of the World* (2023) and *Fairfax* (2021–2022). She served as supervising director on *Haunted Hotel* (2025). She holds a B.F.A. in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
