Erica Shelton Kodish is a television writer and producer. A Detroit native, she studied at Northwestern University and received a graduate degree in screenwriting from the University of Southern California, where she was awarded the Courtney and Stephen J. Ross Fellowship.

She began her career as a writers’ assistant on *CSI: NY* and has written episodes for *Cold Case* (2003), *Covert Affairs* (2010), *The Good Wife* (2009), *Being Mary Jane*, *FBI* (2018), *The Equalizer* (2021) and *Elsbeth* (2024). She advanced to supervising producer and co-executive producer on *The Good Wife*, served as showrunner and executive producer on season four of *Being Mary Jane*, and has held executive producer and consulting producer roles on later series.
