Erik Athavale is a Canadian actor. He was born on 18 September 1990 in Windsor, Ontario, to Emily, a Canadian of Polish descent, and Ashok, an immigrant from India. He attended the University of Winnipeg, where he majored in Education with a Theatre minor, before earning a degree in marketing from the University of Manitoba. He renewed his focus on acting in 2012.

Athavale has appeared in supporting and character roles in films including *Ordinary Angels* (2024) as Dr. Ghorbani, *Nobody* (2021), *Run* (2020), *Ghostland* (2018), *Violent Night* (2022), *Orphan: First Kill* (2022), *Fractured* (2019) and *Breakthrough* (2019).
