## Biography

Erik Nelson is an American documentary filmmaker and television producer. He produced Werner Herzog’s *Grizzly Man* (2005) and collaborated with the director on further projects including *Encounters at the End of the World* (2007), *Into the Abyss* (2011) and *Cave of Forgotten Dreams* (2010).

As a director, Nelson’s credits include *Dreams with Sharp Teeth* (2008), *Dinotasia* (2012), *A Gray State* (2017, executive produced by Herzog) and *The Cold Blue* (2018). He founded the production company Creative Differences and has worked extensively in television documentary and series production.
