## Biography

Erik Oleson is an American television writer and producer. He was born on 7 February 1973 in Washington, District of Columbia, and grew up in Clifton, Virginia. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1995.

Before becoming a writer, Oleson worked on film production crews and as a script reader for Kathleen Kennedy, Chris Columbus and Jeffrey Katzenberg. His first writing credit was on the series *Andromeda* (2000). He later wrote for series including *Arrow* (2014–2015), *The Man in the High Castle* (2016) and *Unforgettable* (2011).

Oleson served as showrunner and executive producer on the third season of *Marvel’s Daredevil* (2018) and the second season of *Carnival Row* (2023). He was head writer and executive producer on the second season of *The Man in the High Castle*. He received a USC Scripter Award nomination in 2017 and founded the production company CrimeThink in 2022.
