## Biography

Erika L. Johnson is a television writer and producer, also credited as Erika Graham. She has written episodes of *The Penguin* (2024), *Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist* (2024), *The Good Lord Bird* (2020), *Queen Sugar* (2016–2018), *Being Mary Jane* (2013–2015), *Ugly Betty* (2006–2010) and *Without a Trace* (2002).

She earned a BA in Film and Television from UCLA. After working as an assistant on *Lost*, she joined the Disney|ABC Writing Program and was staffed on *Ugly Betty* for two seasons, followed by three seasons on *Being Mary Jane*. She has also served as co-executive producer on *The Penguin* and *The Good Lord Bird*, and in producing roles on *Queen Sugar*, *Shades of Blue* and *The Village*.

Johnson is co-founder of Black Women Who Brunch, a network for Black women television writers that was featured in *The Hollywood Reporter*’s 2018 Women in Entertainment issue. She is a Southern California native based in Los Angeles.
