## Biography

Erin Donovan is an American actress and television writer. She began her career as an actress in the 1970s and 1980s, appearing in series such as *Police Woman*, *Charlie's Angels* and *CHiPs*, and later played Betty in an episode of *Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman* (1993).

She has written episodes of *The Mentalist* (2015, as Erin Lane Donovan) and *The Enemy Within* (2019). Donovan also wrote and produced the 2014 documentary *A Tale of Two Thieves* and has developed projects with writers including Bruno Heller and Ken Woodruff. She is married to director Chris Long.
