Erkki Pajala was a Finnish actor who worked in theatre, television and film. Born in Jyväskylä, he appeared in productions from the mid-1950s until his death in 1992. He played the miner in Aki Kaurismäki’s *Ariel* (1988).

Pajala was known for his television roles, including Alpo Nieminen in the series *Elämänmeno*. He received a Jussi Award for his performance in the television film *Manillaköysi* (1976). He was married to actress Eeva-Maija Haukinen; their son Turo Pajala was also an actor.
