Esther Wilson is a writer for television, radio and stage. Her television credits include an episode of the first series of *Call the Midwife* (2012), an episode of *Accused* (2010), and work on *The Street*, *Moving On*, *Justice* and *Clink*.

In theatre she received an Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award for the play *Unprotected* and was shortlisted for the Susan Blackburn Smith Award for *Ten Tiny Toes*. On radio her single drama *The Pursuits of Darleen Fyles* was developed into a long-running Woman's Hour series.
