## Biography

Ettore Geri was an Italian actor. Born in Trieste in 1914, he began working in cinema in the early 1960s, already in middle age. His first film role was in Vittorio De Sica's *Il boom* (1963).

From 1969 he collaborated frequently with director Fernando Di Leo, appearing in several of his films in supporting roles. He also worked again with De Sica in *The Garden of the Finzi-Continis* (1970), as Pierotti, and *Il viaggio* (1974). Geri's later credits include *Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion* (1970), *Caliber 9* (1972), *Fantozzi: White Collar Blues* (1975), *The Marquis of Grillo* (1981) and *Titus* (1999). He made a brief television appearance in *Distretto di polizia* (2001) and died in Rome in 2003.
