Eugene Corr is an American director and screenwriter. Born on 24 February 1947 in Contra Costa County, California, he worked in factories and other manual jobs from the ages of 17 to 26 before beginning his film career in 1973 as a member of the Cine Manifest collective in San Francisco. His first feature, *Over-Under Sideways-Down* (1977), was later restored and screened.

Corr wrote and directed the dramatic feature *Desert Bloom* (1986), which screened in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes. He co-directed the documentary *Waldo Salt: A Screenwriter's Journey* (1990) with Robert Hillmann, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature. He has directed episodes of television series including *Crime Story* (1987–1988) and *Miami Vice* (1989), worked as second unit director on *Bull Durham* (1988), and written screenplays including *Prefontaine* (1997).
