## Biography

Eva Gabor was a Hungarian-born American actress. She appeared in supporting roles in several films of the 1950s, including as Sonia (also credited as Mrs Curtis) in *Artists and Models* (1955) and as Liane d'Exelmans in *Gigi* (1958).

She gained wider recognition for her television work, notably playing Lisa Douglas in the sitcom *Green Acres* (1965–1971). Gabor also provided voice performances in Disney animated features, including Duchess in *The Aristocats* (1970) and Miss Bianca in *The Rescuers* (1977) and *The Rescuers Down Under* (1990).

Born in Budapest, she was the youngest of three sisters, all of whom worked in acting and entertainment; the others were Magda Gabor and Zsa Zsa Gabor.
