Evan Chandler (1944–2009) was an American writer and producer. He received story and screenplay credits on the 1993 comedy film *Robin Hood: Men in Tights*, directed by Mel Brooks, and also served as associate producer on the project.

Born in The Bronx, New York, Chandler worked as a dentist in Beverly Hills. The idea for the film originated from a conversation involving Chandler and screenwriter J. David Shapiro.
