Evan Parke, also credited as Evan Dexter Parke, is a Jamaican-born American actor. Born on 2 January 1968 in Kingston, Jamaica, he was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and on Long Island. He holds a BA in economics from Cornell University and an MFA from Yale School of Drama, and has also studied at the New York Film Academy.

Parke began his career in the late 1990s with roles in television and film, including appearances in *The Cider House Rules* (1999) and *The Replacements* (2000). He played Gunnar in *Planet of the Apes* (2001) and later portrayed Hayes in *King Kong* (2005). His other credits include *Kiss Kiss Bang Bang* (2005), *Django Unchained* (2012), *Captain America: The Winter Soldier* (2014), and television series such as *Alias*, *Charmed*, *The Blacklist* and *The First Lady*. He has also performed on Broadway in *The Lion King*.
